About the Position

This is a backfill opportunity. The facility is a flagship hospital, known for high clinical quality and patient safety. The hospital has received national recognition for its achievements in healthcare. It serves as a referral center for trauma and comprehensive stroke care. The emergency department has a typical patient ratio of 4:1. The department can accommodate patient ratios up to 7:1 on behavioral health holds. Technicians are available to assist in the department. The nurse will work with various types of equipment and a documentation system. Scheduling will require availability for every other weekend. There is a floating policy within different sections of the emergency department. Patient experience is a priority and staff are expected to engage with patients respectfully. Advanced skills and experience in a high-volume emergency department are desirable. The department values teamwork and a welcoming environment. Staff enjoy serving a diverse community with various cultural backgrounds.
