Speech Language Pathologist AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2026/2027 school year. Requirements Master’s degree in communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology. Must possess or be eligible for a Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of Virginia. Hold, or be able to obtain, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting required. Job Description Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset Contract through the 2026/2027 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week Contract follows the academic district calendar Position Overview Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills. Essential Functions Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success. Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports. Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
