Senior Product Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX Experience: 5+ Years Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot/Microservices, Kafka, AWS/Azure, and MongoDB. The candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable production applications while focusing on performance, reliability, security, and resiliency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document scalable software solutions.
- Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Build and maintain event-driven applications using Kafka.
- Work with MongoDB and other persistent storage technologies.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS/Azure.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
- Improve application performance, reliability, resiliency, and security.
- Design and implement new capabilities within existing systems.
- Develop automated tests and ensure production quality.
- Implement monitoring and observability practices.
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Follow Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
- Mentor and support junior/mid-level engineers.
- Promote reusable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Java
- Spring Boot / Microservices
- Kafka
- AWS Cloud
- MongoDB / Persistent Storage
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of application performance, security, reliability, and resiliency.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Location Requirement
Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in the DFW/Fort Worth, TX area.
