Duties

The duties include:

Exercising exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
Serving as a police patrol officer enforcing Federal criminal laws and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) involving persons and property.
Protecting government property, materials, and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage, and espionage.
Detaining or arresting suspected or guilty persons.
Collecting and protecting evidence, witnesses, victims, etc.
Arresting persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation.
Patrolling assigned area by vehicle or on foot to preserve the peace, prevent crime, and protect lives and property.
