A well-established food manufacturer north of Dayton, OH is hiring a 3rd Shift Refrigeration Technician.Why you'll like it here$25–$35/hr., based on experienceA $1.50/hr. weekly attendance bonus just for clocking in on timePlenty of overtime to grow your paycheck2 weeks of PTO in your first yearFree uniformsCareer growth with a company that develops its peopleWhat you'll doMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair the facility's ammonia industrial refrigeration system, including preventive maintenance on all system componentsTake daily readings and logs on refrigeration equipmentInspect freezer and cooler evaporators for fan issues, ice buildup, and condensate drain problems, and log anything that needs attentionAdjust compressor pressures and temperatures as neededMonitor ammonia levels in all accumulators and high-pressure vesselsFollow lockout/tagout procedures every timeWhat you bringAmmonia refrigeration certification1+ year of industrial maintenance experienceWelding experienceExperience with hand and power tools and precision measuring tools, and the ability to read drawings and blueprintsYour own basic toolsA high school diploma or GEDMust be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipComfort working in hot, cold, wet, and humid conditions, at heights, and around moving equipmentAvailability Monday through Saturday with daily overtime.
