Travel CCU RN - Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse

Travel CCU RN – Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse Location: Worcester, MA. Contract assignment – 13 weeks (temporary). Shift: 4x12 nights. As a travel Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and supervise ancillary personnel in acute care hospital settings. You will apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinate with the medical team, and deliver education to patients and families. Key Responsibilities Assess and diagnose patient conditions and develop individualized nursing plans. Implement and evaluate nursing interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Supervise professional and ancillary personnel to ensure quality patient care. Provide patient and family education for post‑discharge health maintenance. Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous professional development. Requirements Current state license as a Registered Nurse. Minimum one‑year experience in a Critical Care Unit within the last three years. Completed AHA ACLS Provider course within 12 months of employment. CCRN certification preferred. Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical‑surgical patients preferred. Associate’s Degree or BSN in Nursing required. At least two years of nursing experience overall.
