Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,392 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25 an hour plus $1,491.66 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position in a medical intensive care unit and trauma intensive care unit setting. Located on the Central California Coast, this role involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilation, neuro / trauma, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring. The position requires supervising and delegating responsibilities to ancillary personnel and ensures the delivery of comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice; High School Education/GED or equivalent; Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or higher; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; passing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of hire or transfer; Six months previous critical care experience or more.
• Additional Information: Provides appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations. Is competent in routine nursing skills including medication administration, intravenous therapy, care of indwelling catheters and drains, and safe use of medical equipment used in the critical care setting. Accurately interprets ECG rhythms and manages patients during life-threatening emergencies. Demonstrates knowledge of lead functions, management of neurological monitoring such as ICP and ventriculostomy, pulmonary artery monitoring, arterial pressure monitoring, and mechanical ventilation support. Initiates multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educates patients and families, completes timely documentation, and performs safety and quality control checks as required.
