The Team

The engineering team builds systems that interact with some of the most complex software in production today. Its members are industry veterans with backgrounds in deep learning infrastructure, autonomous systems, marketplaces, and ad tech.

As an AI Sales Engineer, you'll work side by side with Account Executives to explain the platform's value and set it apart throughout the sales process. You'll drive POCs from requirements gathering to close. The work is varied. One day you might help pitch the platform to a Chief Data Officer, and the next you might be building a small proof of concept yourself.

What You'll Do

You'll be the customer's trusted advisor:

• Partner with Account Executives to present the platform's value, vision, and strategy to customers
• Work closely with some of the most sophisticated GenAI teams in the world
• Build relationships with both technical and business stakeholders at prospective customers
• Lead product demonstrations
• Advise on GenAI and ML best practices
• Lead discovery into prospects' GenAI tech stacks and work with Sales to build a compelling value proposition
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) motions with prospective buyers
• Handle technical objections and work with Sales, Engineering, and Product to resolve them

What They're Looking For

You're encouraged to apply even if you don't check every box.

• 3+ years in a customer-facing role such as sales engineer, solutions engineer, or forward deployed engineer
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Knowledge of LLM and agentic frameworks such as OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK, LangGraph, and DSPy
• Understanding of GenAI concepts and the development and evaluation lifecycle for AI applications
• A quick self-learner who isn't daunted by the complexity of production AI deployments and enjoys forming your own point of view

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience aligning Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
• Experience on a team during a high-growth stage
• Engineering background in Data Engineering, MLOps, Kubernetes, or GCP/AWS/Azure

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annual salary plus variable compensation of $140,000 to $230,000 , plus a competitive equity package

Location

The company is remote-first, with optional offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. Employees elsewhere receive a monthly work-from-home stipend that can cover co-working spaces.
