Job Summary
This is a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nurse position located in Clarkston, Washington. The role involves providing acute care to patients recovering from anesthesia, including sedation and peri-operative assessments. The nurse will work in a dynamic outpatient environment, requiring strong skills in preoperative and post-operative patient management, as well as the ability to manage complications related to anesthesia.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, strong pre-operative, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and Phase II skills, at least 1 year of nursing experience, current CPR certification, and willingness to float to other outpatient services areas including Day surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conscious sedation procedures, peri-operative assessments, and recognizing post-anesthesia complications.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing nursing assessments, administering conscious sedation, providing peri-operative education, and monitoring for post-operative complications in a multi-venue outpatient setting.
