Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Hunt is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager or Director of Construction to help manage large, complex construction projects. You will participate in the scheduling, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder coordination ensuring the complete delivery of the project.Job duties:Participate in site delivery: planning, mobilization, execution, and close-out for large-scale projects.Assist project team in integrated project schedules; track critical path, milestones, and recovery plans.Control cost and change: forecast, manage budgets, process change orders, and support claims.Participate in daily field operations, as necessary.Understand and deliver objective information on project controlsManage contract documentation such as: RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, etc.Coordinate with stakeholders: clients, designers, suppliers, authorities, utilities, and community interfaces.Administer contracts: scope, deliverables, compliance, and risk registers; escalate issues proactively.Facilitate design-construction coordination (BIM/model reviews), value engineering, and constructabilityAssist with O&M documentation, training, and final acceptance.About Construction Management – AECOM HuntFounded in 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, AECOM Hunt has been building for over 80 years. From iconic stadiums and arenas, next-gen transportation hubs and sustainable healthcare and academic buildings, AECOM Hunt’s expertise, leadership and dedication are unparalleled.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Sr. Project ManagerBS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 10 years of construction management or project management experience on large construction sites or AA/AS and 12 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 14 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education/experience.DirectorBS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 12 years of construction management or project management experience on large construction sites or AA/AS and 14 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 16 years of relevant experience or demonstrated, with 2 years of leadership experience or equivalency of education/experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with construction scheduling and project controls (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project).Experience in the construction of: sports arenas/stadiumshospital/healthcareStrong knowledge of CMAR.Experience with contract administrationExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; calm under pressure.Working knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance; commitment to zero incidentsExperience delivering large construction and building programs.Familiarity with BIM coordination tools and digital field management platforms,Procore, CMIC or other construction project software experience.Additional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position is not hybrid nor remote.This position may include relocation.Travel may be required for this position.For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
