Therapist / Physical Therapy / California / Physical Therapist (PT) Job

A healthcare organization in California is currently seeking a licensedPhysical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Los Angeles. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible fordelivering PT servicesto maintain or improve participants baseline functional status.

Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist (PT) will:

• Perform initial and annual assessments for all participants and corresponding plans of care
• Deliver and document PT interventions in accordance with physician orders and/or as agreed upon in the participants care plans
• Assist in the delegation of therapy plans for specific participants according to the complexity of participants needs and the nature of required physical therapy procedures
• Assist in ordering, tracking, managing, and maintenance of equipment
• Solicit ideas from staff for ongoing improvement in the efficient functioning of the rehab services
• Train family members, caregivers, and other staff members in methods to enhance the mobility, safety, and functional independence of participants
• Support outreach and enrollment activities by providing informational seminars on areas of expertise to prospective participants
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school
• CA Physical Therapist (PT)license
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience
• Bilingual
