Principal Network Developer

Salary: $102,300 - 209,500 per year Requirements:

• We want experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.

• We provide break-fix support for incidents and act as an escalation point for remediation.
• We lead post-event root cause analysis.
• We coordinate with network automation services to develop and integrate support tooling.
• We create scripts to automate routine tasks for our team and business unit.
• We serve as subject matter experts on software development projects for network automation.
• We support network vendor software bug fixes.
• We collaborate with vendor technical account teams and internal quality assurance to resolve bugs and qualify new firmware and operating systems.

We are working with Oracle to connect exceptional professionals with this role on the Network Region Build team. Our team is responsible for deploying greenfield infrastructure, establishing network connectivity for new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions, enabling compute connectivity for child sites, and building and managing data center fabrics, edge networks, backbone, and fiber metro networks while supporting multi-cloud initiatives. We also provide operational support during build phases and oversee network and server rack additions, decommissions, and capacity expansions. This role is focused on designing, deploying, and operating large-scale global cloud networks, with a broad infrastructure footprint across network devices and millions of connected servers. Oracles US role offers a comprehensive benefits package, a hiring range of $102,300 to $209,500 annually, and may include bonus and equity.
