Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Financial Crimes Governance / Controls Analyst (Financial Crimes Specialist 3 - Contingent) to join their team. As a Financial Crimes Governance / Controls Analyst (Financial Crimes Specialist 3 - Contingent), you will be part of the Financial Crimes Analytics Monitoring and Surveillance team supporting control updates, issue management, and various ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to work, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Minneapolis, MN OR Charlotte, NC (onsite)

Pay Range: $57/hr W2

Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

What's the Job?

  • Support the Financial Crimes Analytics Monitoring and Surveillance team with control updates and publishing controls to our system of records
  • Manage issue tracking, SharePoint access requests, and perform other ad hoc tasks as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including audit-ready records and progress tracking against milestones
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance control effectiveness and efficiency

What's Needed?

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, or related fields
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience managing controls, executing, and collecting evidence of controls monthly
  • Proficiency in issue management and SharePoint site management
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and work with a sense of urgency
