Dean's Professional Services is now hiring for qualified Medical Assistant to work in Richmond, TX for a large Healthcare Organization.
Medical Assistant Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: 1600 Jackson St. Richmond, TX 77469
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/ Hourly (based on experience)
Temporary to hire
Job Responsibilities:
Performs laboratory tests, EKGs, suture/staple removals, dressing changes among other patient care procedures.
Collect and chart vitals, patient history, and other screening.
Authorize prescription refills.
Instruct patients regarding medications and diet.
Collect co-payments, reconcile charges and balances.
Communicate unexpected wait times to patients.
Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups.
Perform insurance verifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Must be certified
2+ years medical assistant experience required.
Bilingual preferred.
Athena experience preferred.
