Cath Lab/EP Tech Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP Tech to support the cardiovascular catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The candidate will work within the hospitals specialized cardiac units, providing technical expertise and support for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate advanced Cath Lab and EP equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist physicians during catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and ablations.
- Ensure sterile field setup and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage documentation during procedures.
- Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and uphold regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Cardiovascular Tech or relevant certification at the time of submission.
- Proven experience working in a Cath Lab and EP environment for at least 2 years.
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, instrumentation, and protocols.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiology equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with medical staff.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
