Logistics Specialist, Local Warehousing & Distribution (NJ/PA) Key Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day operational orders for local distribution and warehousing. Inventory reconciliation with the external warehouse in Pennsylvania. Responsible for day-to-day operational relationships with various third-party providers, including: The warehouse service provider. The management logistics service provider. Responsible for inbound receiving and SAP inventory transactions to guarantee stock available in accordance with the proper process and procedure administration. You Bring: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics. 1-3 years' of experience in a global environment with a complex matrix organization, preferable in the Animal Nutrition industry. At least 1+ years of experience in Warehousing and Distribution and the management of the 3rd party logistics service providers. Experience with outsourcing of complex and very high standard distribution and warehousing activities. Experience in dealing with authorities and internal or external audits. Knowledge of and experience with Warehousing and Transportation in general and Hazmat materials. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and/or external parties. Problem solving skills in a complex and fast-moving environment. Advanced computing skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse) The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will bebased on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary: $63,000.00 - $90,000.00. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage,paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
