Job opportunity is part of a Part‑Time Faculty Interest Pool in the Microelectronic Technology Department at the Rock Creek Campus. Applicants will be considered for substitute and full term class assignments as needs arise during the academic year. Responsibilities include teaching agreed‑upon courses in the Microelectronics Technology department, preparing instructional materials, evaluating student performance, and assisting with program development. Instructor Qualifications Fundamentals in electronic and digital circuits (MT90, MT111, MT112, MT113, MT121, MT122) Master of Science in Physics or Engineering Demonstrated competency in teaching the subject Bachelor of Science in Physics or Engineering Demonstrated competency in teaching the subject Two quarters of upper‑division coursework in the subject Associate of Applied Science degree (required for employment in semiconductor industry as equipment technician) Demonstrated competency in teaching the subject Demonstrated competency in all CCOG topics Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience Benefits Oregon Sick Leave Retirement savings plans for part‑time faculty Other benefits may be discussed during enrollment Compensation Newly hired part‑time faculty generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates determined based on course type (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
