Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 91-day assignment. Weekend coverage required. Float to Postpartum as needed. Guaranteed hours with potential for one 12-hour call-off per two-week period.

Highlights:

• High-risk perinatal care in a Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU
• 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
• Staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Robust interdisciplinary support including 3-4 delivering providers 24/7, 2 CRNAs 24/7, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators
• EPIC charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Facility-paid parking and comprehensive support services

Requirements:

• Active Washington RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience in facilities handling 100+ deliveries per month preferred;
  200+ deliveries ideal
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring (all certifications are hard-stop requirements)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be proficient in sterile vaginal exams (SVE) – hard-stop requirement
• Core competencies include high-risk deliveries, C-section recovery, antepartum care, neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, magnesium sulfate therapy, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Must live outside 50-mile local radius or accept adjusted compensation
• Clean background check required;
  certain background findings are not accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
