X-Ray Technologist, Orthopedic Practice | Highlands Ranch, CO Contract, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent hire for the right candidate | Full-time | $28-$38/hr, based on experience About the Opportunity ExecuSource is partnering with a well-established, multi-location orthopedic group in the south Denver metro area to hire an experienced Radiologic Technologist on a contract basis. You'll join a collaborative imaging team that works closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver excellent musculoskeletal care. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p, no weekends or call What You'll Do Independently perform diagnostic radiographic exams using sound technique and established protocols Position patients accurately and set appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality images with minimal radiation dose Review images for quality, positioning, and completeness, and repeat exams when needed Explain procedures to patients and support them before, during, and after imaging Complete exam documentation and communicate results to providers and care teams Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and mobility while protecting their privacy, dignity, and comfort Follow ALARA, radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards Operate imaging equipment safely and promptly report any performance or maintenance issues Keep exam rooms and supplies stocked and ready Cross-train with teammates to support department coverage Travel between practice locations when needed Complete required compliance, safety, and continuing education training What You'll Bring Current ARRT certification in Radiography (required) Active state licensure, if applicable 1-2 years of orthopedic or outpatient radiology experience preferred Solid knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiation safety, and imaging protocols Familiarity with EMR systems, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements Strong communication, computer, and patient service skills Ability to prioritize, work independently, and stay composed in a fast-paced clinic
