Join Our Occupational Therapy Team in Cordele, Georgia
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cordele, Georgia. In this role, you will assess, treat, and help patients recover the necessary skills for daily living and working. You will provide hands-on therapy, creating personalized treatment plans that support our patients' recovery and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop tailored treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic techniques to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and emotional well-being
- Develop personalized programs to help patients achieve their goals and regain independence
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on needs and goals
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques and long-term management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Georgia
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team
- Detail-oriented and organized with a passion for improving patient care
- Flexibility to adapt treatment plans for a wide range of patient conditions
