Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Angels of Care currently has opportunities for part-time or full-time certified Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP). Bilingual / Feeding Experience Preferred Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is a clinician‑owned and operated home‑health agency serving the special‑needs community. We understand that caseloads take time to build; therefore we offer guaranteed pay from day one to ensure income consistency. Pay Range: $52,200 - $156,000 + $3,500 Sign‑On Bonus. Job Description A certified Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community. Requirements ASHA certification Texas State SLP License Current CPR certification Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred Responsibilities Provide high‑quality care and meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations, interpreting assessment results, developing goals, and creating and implementing speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning and improve their independence by implementing skilled interventions. Participate in educating, coaching, and empowering caregivers and families to transfer therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine. Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children based on physician order. Ensure continuation of the therapeutic plan after discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs. Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system. Maintain patient confidentiality and trust.
