Join a collaborative, patient-focused therapy team at St. Mary's Rehabilitation Hospital, where you'll have the opportunity to lead and support a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality rehabilitation care. The Rehabilitation Manager will oversee daily therapy operations, scheduling, productivity, documentation, and staff development in a supportive team environment.

How you'll contribute

A  Rehabilitation Manager who excels in this role:

• Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.
• Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.
• Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for 

• Education/Licensure: Current state licensure/certification as PT, Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BLS certification.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine. IRF/management experience highly preferred
• Skills: Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.
