Plumbing Project ManagerAn Insight Global Customer in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing space is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to join its growing Commercial Plumbing division in Birmingham, AL. This role is responsible for managing commercial plumbing construction projects from award through closeout while partnering closely with field leadership, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent, or Foreman looking to leverage their field knowledge and transition into a long-term project management career with a stable and growing organization. This company performs work for some of the region's most recognized facilities, including hospitals, utility providers, airports, and large commercial facilities.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesManage 10-15 commercial plumbing projects simultaneously throughout various phases of constructionOversee project budgets, schedules, manpower planning, procurement activities, and overall project performanceCoordinate material purchases and equipment deliveries to ensure project timelines are maintainedReview plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of workManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentationPartner closely with Superintendents and field teams to drive successful project executionTrack project costs, labor productivity, invoicing, billing, and overall profitabilityAttend customer and contractor meetings as neededCoordinate subcontractors for select piping and specialty workWork collaboratively with the estimating team during project turnover and executionMaintain strong relationships with General Contractors, owners, vendors, and customersLead project closeout efforts, including punch lists, inspections, and final documentationProject PortfolioCommercial plumbing projects ranging from approximately $40K to $4MLarge-scale projects exceeding $10MHealthcare and hospital facilitiesUtility and power company projectsAirport facilitiesCommercial and institutional construction$80,000 to $100,000- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
