Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Pediatric Float ICU Nurse Job Summary This position requires a Pediatric Float ICU Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill children across multiple locations within the region. The nurse will be expected to float between various intensive care units, including PICU, NICU, TDICU, and CICU, as well as general and specialty care areas as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition. Float between specialized units as required, ensuring adaptability and proficiency in high-acuity care. Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2-3:1, ensuring adequate attention and care for each child. Document patient care activities accurately using EPIC charting software. Participate in required continuing education and clinical training to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in either Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Possess an active Georgia nursing license or a compact nursing license. Ability to work every other weekend and make up any missed shifts as required.
