Job Overview
A law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial foreclosure litigation, and other real estate litigation matters.
Duties
- Represent clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
- Handle commercial foreclosure litigation.
- Engage in motion practice and discovery, including e-discovery.
- Draft motions and court pleadings with proper NY citation formatting.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
- Experience in commercial landlord-tenant litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated and organized.
Education
Strong academic credentials required.
Certifications
None specified.
Skills
- Experience with motion practice and discovery.
- Ability to draft motions and adhere to NY citation formatting.
