Description - What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conducting both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Interpreting results for precision, identifying errors, and executing preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assisting with specimen collection and preparing samples for analytical procedures when necessary.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of all procedures, mentoring new employees or students, and supporting the adherence to lab quality standards.
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year from the hiring date.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment for the duration of your work with us.
