Our Companion Caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.ResponsibilitiesProviding companionship and conversationAssisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feedingPerforming light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changingLaying out clothes and assisting with dressingPlanning and preparing mealsProviding medication remindersProviding transportation to and from appointmentsHelping family members learn safe care techniquesQualificationsAbility to treat clients with dignity and respectAbility to interpret the client's provided plan of careValid driver's license and transportationAbility to be flexible and adapt to new situationsTolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergenciesAble to lift a minimum of 25 lbsPrior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!Why Join The Industry?Health benefits availableCompetitive compensationFlexible schedulingTraining and support for our caregiversCompensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hourProfessional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers.
