Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Summary Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization, acting as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Key Responsibilities Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Complexity of Work Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Unit / Specialty Telemetry Job Title Float Cardiac Telemetry RN Experience Prior experience in cardiac telemetry is required. Skills Critical thinking Verbal and written communication Ability to work under pressure Certifications BLS Required Qualifications Registered Nurse license in the state of Oklahoma and compact states.
