Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Calais Community Hospital.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Current OR experience is essential.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.

Unit Details: Safe, sterile set-up and handling of surgical instrumentation for scheduled and emergency surgical cases. Gathers necessary instrumentation and supplies from surgeons’ pick sheets.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Thursday. Holidays as required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
