Akkodis is seeking a Senior Laboratory Systems Implementation Project Manager / Scrum Master (Oracle Health PathNet AP) for a Direct Hire job with a client located in Torrance, CA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $120,000 to $160,000; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Systems Implementation Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead a complex laboratory technology transformation for a leading academic and research healthcare organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving a multi-platform laboratory systems implementation from planning and discovery through go-live and stabilization. Key Program Areas Oracle Health PathNet AP implementation. Oracle Health Lab Sequence implementation for molecular/genetics. Sectra Digital Pathology implementation and integration. Laboratory system integrations and interfaces. AI-enabled laboratory reporting integrations. Legacy Cerner CoPath replacement and data migration. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end laboratory systems implementation and program delivery. Develop and maintain the integrated roadmap, project plan, milestones, dependencies, and governance. Coordinate multiple vendors, technical teams, laboratory stakeholders, and executive leadership. Lead current-state workflow assessment and future-state laboratory process design. Manage requirements, solution design, testing, validation, migration, cutover, go-live, and stabilization. Drive integrations across LIS/LIMS, digital pathology, instruments, enterprise systems, and AI-enabled solutions. Manage risks, issues, scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and vendor performance. Apply Scrum, Kanban, and Agile practices within a structured enterprise/vendor implementation methodology. Lead executive reporting, stakeholder communications, decision-making, and escalation. Support organizational readiness, training, adoption, and transition to operational support. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years of healthcare IT project/program management experience. Proven experience leading at least one LIS/LIMS implementation through go-live and stabilization. Working knowledge of Oracle Health PathNet AP and anatomic pathology workflows. Strong understanding of laboratory operations and clinical/laboratory workflows. Experience with current-state/future-state workflow design and process transformation. Experience managing complex multi-vendor healthcare technology implementations. Experience with healthcare integrations and interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, APIs, or DICOM. Experience with data migration/conversion and legacy system replacement. Understanding of healthcare privacy, security, regulatory, validation, quality, and patient-safety requirements. Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Health Lab Sequence experience. Academic medical center or research laboratory experience. Molecular/genetics laboratory implementation experience. AI/advanced analytics integration within laboratory or healthcare environments. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certification. Experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
