Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting students from PreK through 12th grade in the Idaho Springs, CO area for the 26-27 school year. This position is ideal for speech-language pathologists passionate about pediatric practice and educational settings, and open to both seasoned SLP-CCC professionals as well as those completing their CFY. The caseload consists of approximately 30 students, with a balanced four-day workweek (Monday through Thursday), aligning with the district’s innovative scheduling.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Colorado SLP license and CDE certification required
• Experience in school-based SLP roles, with strengths in teletherapy and pediatric speech-language intervention
• Willingness and ability to serve a diverse PreK-12 student population
• Background in SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY roles, healthcare settings, and/or prior pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, supporting both students and educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech and language assessments and interventions for students across multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with educators, families, and other providers
• Support teletherapy initiatives as needed, ensuring continuity of services
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in relevant school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
