Subject Matter Expert(SME) Image Collection

Role & responsibilities : Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) Image Data & Writing: About the Role: Collect and curate images from publicly accessible sources across six domains, including patent drawings, medical images, and satellite imagery. Ensure each image is accompanied by relevant metadata and clear, accurate written descriptions to support AI training. Key Responsibilities: Identify and review relevant image sources within the assigned domain. Collect and evaluate image samples, metadata, captions, and associated information. Write clear, concise, and accurate descriptions for images. Review AI-generated image descriptions for errors, redundancy, and generic wording. Rewrite or create new descriptions as needed to maintain quality and accuracy. Check all descriptions for grammar, clarity, completeness, and domain-specific accuracy. Estimate data availability and recommend reliable, appropriate sources for image collection. Support the creation of writing guidelines and quality standards. Flag any potential licensing or source-access issues to the concerned team. Required Skills: Strong subject matter expertise in the assigned domain. Excellent written English with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. High attention to detail and ability to perform thorough quality checks. Good research and analytical skills. Comfortable working with online databases and spreadsheet tools. Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage. Preferred Experience: Background in content writing, technical writing, scientific writing, annotation, or quality control.
