Administrative Assistant

Somerset is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and technical support across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities As an Administrative Assistant, you will: Coordinate scheduling for multiple departments to ensure daily, weekly, and hourly staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance with labor agreements and company policies. Process production payroll accurately and on time. Track commodities and assist with inventory management for the Finishing and Shipping Department. Provide administrative support, including data entry, reporting, document preparation, and other office-related functions. Serve as a dependable resource to departments by helping ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and effectively manage changing demands. A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through. The ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple leaders and departments. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Experience with HRIS systems, payroll administration, labor agreements, or company pay policies is a plus. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous administrative, payroll, scheduling, or related experience is preferred.
