If you're looking for a dynamic and purpose-driven environment, we invite you to explore the opportunity to contribute to our mission.Job SummaryThe entry-level Staff Accountant supports the mission of the organization by performing daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, contributing to financial analysis, participating in the annual budget preparation, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Supervisory Duties: NoneEssential Duties/ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record journal entries accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with monthly and annual financial closing processesReconcile general ledger accounts and bank statementsProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as assignedMaintain supporting documentation for financial transactionsSupport and participate in all facets of the budget processTrack project level expenses and revenue and prepare and submit reports to fundersAssist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedulesReview and reconcile payroll transactionsSupport account analysis, variance reporting and perform advanced financial analyticsHelp ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and proceduresAssist with audits by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentationParticipate in financial reporting and special projects as neededResearch, translate and understand related compliance requirementsResearch and resolve accounting discrepancies and issuesAssist with cash managementOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/AbilitiesUnderstanding of GAAPExperience in Microsoft ExcelAdvanced Informatics and technical skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExposure to ERP or accounting software preferred but not requiredEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in accountingRecent graduates are encouraged to applyCPA Eligible preferredWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsThis position is on-site at DAP Health admin location with the possibility of hybrid or remote workThis job operates in an office setting and requires frequent times of sitting, standing, repetitive motion and talkingAbility to lift up to 24 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr DAP Health
