TITLE
Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 143 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science degree (highly preferred)
- Two years of Ultrasound/Vascular experience (required)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Currently registered with minimal certifications in RDMS abdomen (AB) and vascular (RVT) (required)
- Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) Certification (required)
- EMR: HMS Medhost, NH MIRT

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select appropriate equipment based on exam specifications and patient needs.
- Explain and perform ultrasound procedures, considering the patient's age and comprehension level.
- Assess patient comfort and intervene as necessary in coordination with the physician.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain optimal patient care standards.
- Adjust transducers and equipment controls according to body part and test specifications.
- Maintain proper use of all ultrasound equipment and adhere to established protocols.

Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color.
