Performs routine laboratory testing and analysis that require well developed, cognitive, manipulative and problem solving skills for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Attendant activities include operating test equipment, monitoring the quality of testing, and verifying and reporting test results. Performs more complex test procedures in one or more sections. May be responsible for the technical supervision of a specific section of shift in the absence of the Clinical Specialist and Technologist III. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire.
