You will oversee all front‑of‑house operations, providing leadership, insight, and guidance to the service team while collaborating closely with the Director of Restaurants to ensure operational and financial success. What You Bring To The Table Personal Attributes Exceptional communication and organizational skills Genuine, gracious spirit of hospitality Intellectual curiosity and emotional maturity Passion for developing staff in food, beverage, and service education Ability to work cleanly, stay organized, and lead by example Strong commitment to personal growth Professional Attributes Experience with industry-specific software, including Northstar and ForeTees Proven ability to build cohesive teams across front and back of house Adaptable leadership style and business approach Advanced knowledge of food, wine, and service standards Desire to teach, mentor, and develop staff Basic Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a high‑volume restaurant environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds Flexibility to work the necessary Club hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays What a Typical Shift Looks Like At Bethesda Country Club, our members always come first. A typical shift will consist of: 75% Floor service and direct member interaction 10% Engagement and collaboration with other departments 15% Administrative and office responsibilities Compensation And Benefits We offer a highly competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package within a supportive environment where your contributions to the team are valued.
