Job Description
Take your Operating Room expertise to Baltimore on a 14-week travel contract as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. You’ll work 3x12-hour day shifts supporting general, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, robotic, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, colorectal, plastics, ophthalmology, oral/dental, and surgical oncology procedures. This role serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in a busy surgical setting with approximately 40 cases per day.
The assignment requires strong General OR and Trauma experience, including emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia and latex allergy precautions, electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment. You’ll participate in an every-other-weekend rotation, one call shift per week, and occasional weekend shifts according to the scheduling cycle. Scrubs are provided, and Cerner/SurgiNet is used for documentation.
