Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Upper Marlboro, MD. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, policy administration, and compliance with labor and employment regulations. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leaders to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and development initiatives that align with business goals. Daily responsibilities include advising managers on HR practices, facilitating training, managing HR records and systems, and supporting benefits and compensation processes. The role also involves promoting an inclusive workplace culture, handling sensitive issues with discretion, and driving HR projects and process improvements.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

• Strong skills in talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning, with the ability to support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

• Proficiency in HR administration and systems, including maintaining HR records, managing data in HRIS platforms, and preparing HR reports and metrics.
\n
• Effective communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with team members at all levels.
\n
• Experience designing or supporting training, development, and engagement initiatives that foster an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
\n
• Ability to work on-site in Upper Marlboro, MD, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

• Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar operational environment is beneficial.
