The Enrollment Management team helps prospective families learn about Catlin Gabel, navigate the admission process, and feel welcomed into the School community. POSITION DETAILS Department: Enrollment | Reports to: Director of Financial Assistance FLSA: Exempt | EEO: 6 THE ROLE The Enrollment Coordinator helps create a welcoming, organized, and responsive experience for prospective and newly enrolled families from their first interactions with Catlin Gabel through the enrollment process. Working closely with the Enrollment Management team, this role coordinates recruitment events, applicant visits and shadow days, family tours, ambassador programs, and the many operational details that help families navigate the process smoothly. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with people, managing many moving pieces, and bringing order and hospitality to a dynamic school environment. The Enrollment Coordinator also provides year-round administrative support to the Enrollment team and regular back-up coverage for the School's reception desk. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Enrollment Coordinator reports to the Director of Financial Assistance and is responsible for: Lead Enrollment Events & Program Logistics: Coordinate the details that make recruitment, enrollment, outreach, and yield events successful, including timelines, facilities, budgets, communications, volunteers, and family-facing logistics. Coordinate Applicant Visits, Tours & Ambassador Programs: Organize shadow days, visit/assessment days, tours, and ambassador programs so prospective students and families have a welcoming, well-coordinated experience. Deliver a Strong Prospective Family Experience & Enrollment Operations: Support families throughout the enrollment cycle while keeping important team operations, applicant records, calendars, committee logistics, communications, and year-round enrollment processes moving. Support Enrollment Operations: Provide year-round administrative support to the enrollment team, provide front desk coverage and back-up, and coordinate parent/guardian and student volunteers. Technology & Data Fluency: You are comfortable with common workplace technology such as Microsoft 360 or Google Workspace, databases, task-management tools, and learning new systems. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Candidates should bring at least two years of experience managing events and/or projects in an education, nonprofit, or business environment, along with experience working with customers or clients and coordinating volunteers. Independent-school, enrollment/admission, or education-administration experience is preferred. WHAT ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible position, generally Monday through Friday. The role requires flexibility for additional hours, including frequent early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support meetings and enrollment events.
