Medical Technologist in Ringgold, VA

Seeking an experienced professional to contribute expertise as either a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a key laboratory role. If you have a background in medical laboratory science and thrive in an overnight setting, this contract opportunity provides a crucial chance to support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.


Schedule:

• 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Previous experience working in a clinical or hospital laboratory environment
• Thorough understanding of laboratory procedures and best practices
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and safety protocols
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours

• Perform a full range of laboratory tests and analyses, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of results
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
• Adhere to all regulatory and quality control standards
• Support specimen collection, processing, and overall lab workflow
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide critical laboratory data
