CNC Mill Machinist

We are the company that customers and employees never want to leave. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up, identify tools required and run jobs with minimal supervision. Machine Castings, Weldments and billets to print spec Set work offsets, load programs and touch off tools. Understand purpose and functionality of components being machined. Have own basic trade tools. Lifting up to 25 lbs.; heavier load sizes with assistance. Perform equipment preventive maintenance Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Understands, implements and maintains the Company's quality policy in the performance of all duties and responsibilities Minimum Skills and Competencies: Interpret Blueprints and GD&T to make educated decisions. High level experience in machining: knowledge of clamping and cutting techniques; thorough understanding of speeds and feeds; understanding of material properties and being able to match equipment and techniques to various materials. Able to use basic inspection equipment. (micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges) Understanding of N.C controller G and M codes, manual programming capable. Hurco and Fanuc controller experience a plus Knowledge of Master cam preferred or equivalent NC programming software. Mechanical aptitude a plus Experience with parts up to 36” in size a plus Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
