Key Responsibilities Manage daily service department operations, workflow, and repair-order progress from intake through completion. Coordinate repair work based on technician skill level, shop capacity, and current workload. Lead, support, coach, and create accountability across the service team. Maintain clear communication between customers, technicians, parts, and ownership. Communicate with customers about repairs and recommendations and professionally address escalated concerns. Review estimates, repair orders, and parts needs while monitoring department productivity and sales. Maintain strong customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve shop processes, efficiency, and workflow. Support team development and continued growth of the service operation. Qualifications 5+ years of automotive service management experience preferred. Independent automotive repair shop experience strongly preferred. Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and automotive service workflow-management skills. Experience working in an all-makes/all-models repair environment. Familiarity with Tekmetric is a major plus; AutoVitals and digital vehicle inspection system experience are also valued. Compensation & Benefits $90,000+ annual earning potential. Salary + commission compensation structure. Bi-weekly pay on Fridays. Monthly discretionary bonus opportunities.
