Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Havre, Montana. Start date: 08/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,793 to $1,949. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients across adult age groups, under the direction of the care team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; administer medications and treatments per policy and physician orders.
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs and laboratory data; identify and respond to changes in condition; escalate concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record and uphold patient safety and quality standards; maintain a therapeutic, compassionate patient environment.
- May float to related units as needed; maintain competency and communication with unit leadership during assignments.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license (state of practice: Montana) or eligibility to practice in Montana.
- Current nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Med/Surg nursing experience or demonstrated competence in medical-surgical care.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts and potential float duties.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with placement policies; ability to travel to Havre, MT for the assignment.
