Electrician

Our client, a leader in industrial and facility management, is seeking an Electrician 2nd shift to join their team. As an Electrician 2nd shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrician 2nd shift

Location: Romulus, MI

What's the Job?

• Oversee the daily operation of the campus electrical power and lighting systems.

• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution systems and industrial electrical equipment.

• Assist with preventive maintenance and monitor the performance of various building systems including electrical, HVAC, and emergency backup systems.

• Respond to operational and emergency situations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

• Perform new installations, repairs, and general maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, and Work Order Systems.

• Familiarity with BMS and CMMS systems is preferred.

• Ability to operate electric hand tools, work on ladders, and lift heavy loads.

• Prior safety training such as NFPA-70e and OSHA-10 is required.
