Travel RN - Telemetry

We’re looking for Telemetry RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Point Pleasant, WV. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Telemetry RNs provide care by connecting patients to monitors that track heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels and EKG. Telemetry RNs read and interpret the data to better determine patient care. Responsibilities Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays. Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members. Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology. Provide basic bedside care. Requirements 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with easy lifting of 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. NIH and BLS certification and one year of experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
