Indiana University Health , Indiana's most comprehensive and top-ranked healthcare system is actively recruiting an Outpatient Neurologist to join our highly skilled team of established Neurologists and APPs in suburban Fort Wayne, Indiana . Partner with experienced colleagues specialized in treating Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Stroke and Alzheimer's Disease. You'll enjoy the support of a strong primary care referral network and a large catchment area of over one million residents, providing an exceptional foundation to build and grow a thriving practice. In addition, you will be able to develop and hone your teaching skills, participating in the education of IUSOM students and access to a research department.


Position Details:

• Full-time employment - 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Minimal hospital consultative services (APP takes first call)
• Option for EMG, EEG and injections (if preferred)
• Flexibility as we build and shape our new hospital facility *opening doors in 2027*

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Ability to acquire Indiana license
• Open to both graduating Residents/Fellows and practicing Physicians

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

Delivering on our vision to make Indiana one of the nation's healthiest states, Indiana University Health expanded into the northeast Indiana market in 2018. Currently, IU Health operates four primary care clinics, two urgent cares, and a radiology center in the Fort Wayne area. A 40,000-square foot accredited ambulatory care center opened in 2021, with five operating and five procedure rooms for more than 10 different specialties. Riley Children's Health also operates a clinic in Fort Wayne, providing access close to home to multiple pediatric subspecialty physicians.


A unique partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine gives our providers access to the most innovative treatments and latest technologies, offering more treatment options than anywhere in the state.
