Job Details Position: Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Setting: Acute care medical-surgical telemetry unit Location: Ionia, MI 48846 Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940 Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required, with some schedules working every third weekend Floating: No floating at this time Patient Ratio: 1:5 Start Date: 9/21/2026 Charting System: EPIC preferred Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required by start date Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital setting Strong telemetry monitoring skills and dysrhythmia interpretation experience Ability to manage common medical-surgical diagnoses, including CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, and orthopedic patients Comfortable working with insulin drips and Cardizem drips EPIC EMR experience preferred Ability to submit requested documentation by the required deadline Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications and manage therapies including insulin and Cardizem drips Support patients with oxygen therapy, IV care, wound care, and post-operative recovery needs Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow unit protocols Provide compassionate nursing care while supporting patient safety, comfort, and education Work effectively on night shift while maintaining strong teamwork and communication Why Consider This Travel RN Opportunity?
