Job Description

This full-time, permanent Warehouse Associate role supports a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation, focusing on material handling, order processing, and participation in the setup of a new commercial operating line. You will perform hands-on tasks such as lifting, packing, and moving materials while using SAP to update work orders and support shipping, receiving, and production activities.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift in a safe and efficient manner.

• Manually move materials throughout the facility, including loading, unloading, staging, and organizing products.

• Use SAP on a computer to update, track, and maintain work orders and related production or warehouse data.

• Perform packing of materials according to instructions, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging standards.

• Conduct quality checks on products and materials to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.

• Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing materials for shipment and assisting with incoming deliveries.

• Operate or assist with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and be open to training and certification on forklifts once hired.

• Use tools such as tape measures to verify product dimensions and ensure correct sizing and quantities.

• Participate in the start-up and setup of a new commercial operating line within the facility, following direction and procedures.

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions to complete daily tasks accurately and on time.

• Work scheduled overtime as needed, including extended weekday hours and occasional Saturday shifts, as communicated in advance.

• Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper use of steel-toed or composite safety shoes and other required protective equipment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Ability to use SAP on a computer to update and manage work orders.

• Previous warehouse experience, including exposure to shipping and receiving activities.

• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and material handling tasks safely.

• Capability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Experience with packing materials and performing basic quality checks.

• Comfort working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

• Willingness to train on and become certified to operate forklifts after hire.

• Ability to use basic tools such as pallet jacks and tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.

• Familiarity with loading and unloading materials in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

• Comfort working in a facility with multiple production and printing areas, including gravure and vinyl presses.

• Flexibility to work different shifts, including first and second shifts, as well as adjusted hours after training.

• Willingness to work a training schedule of approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with potential shift changes after training.

• Openness to learning new processes and participating in the setup of new operating lines.

• Strong attention to detail when performing quality checks and updating work orders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
