Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities Maintains and repairs specialty building items. Assists and acts as a resource for other maintenance staff with regard to specialty building materials, problems, and issues. Utilizes appropriate hand and power tools and test equipment related to maintenance or specialty. Reads, interprets, and utilizes blueprints and schematics as required for job performance. Maintains and stocks appropriate inventories. Orders parts and supplies as needed. Performs preventative maintenance as assigned. Assumes the role of charge person when requested. Must possess valid Michigan Driver’s License. 4 years in specialized trade (carpenter, flooring, installation, finisher, painter, HVAC) Required. 2 years as maintenance mechanic or construction preferred.
